Roghieh Asgari

Bio

Born 1960 in Azerbaijan, grew up in Tehran. I moved to Norway in 1986 where I currently live and work.
In my art I use documentaries in combination with performance as a method through which to examine the random moments that create meaning in life.

My works reflect my background as a freelance photo journalist, but have shifted in recent years into artistic arena and appear as video- or perfomance-based works.
